My better half came home today; I got to ride the Narita Express and pick him up at the airport. Seeing him smile at me as he exited the terminal gate and hurry towards me made my heart melt. Exactly a year ago, we met outside of a pub - him in a suit and me in my tight blue dress. I remember he used the rain as an excuse to pull me close to him, and just two days later we were on another date. We never really had a distinct moment in which we decided to be together, we kind of just spent all our time together after that, so we count our first planned date as our anniversary. The day after tomorrow we will have been together for a full year, and what a wonderful year it has been. I know there will be many more to come. xx
